Provide a professional and seamless experience for campus events and meetings. Work with college employees and visitors to ensure audio/visual needs are met for campus events. Operate audio/visual equipment during events including evening and weekend hours. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise and be prepared with several backup plans to enact to maintain a seamless experience. Maintain audio/visual equipment. Manage classroom audio/visual design, equipment, and installation. Must have excellent organization skills and be able to work independently to organize and balance work schedule between events and classroom support.
Requirements: An Associate's degree in a media related field or related certifications. Two years of experience providing the sound and visual support for concerts, performances, large venue events, and meetings including the setup and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment, presentation technologies, sound systems, recording systems and equipment. Ability to communicate well with others, manage projects and follow through to completion. Ability to work a flexible and changing schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
